Ifedami: What does your skin mean to you
Folaremi: My skin means a lot to me because it is a major aspect of my work
Ifedami: What are you into (career) and what influenced your decision to do it
Folaremi: I’m an actor, and my decision to become an actor was a result of my hopes to change the way Nigerian movies are perceived by the world.
Ifedami: Which skincare mistakes do you think people make and have turned into a daily habit
Folaremi: I cannot point out any skin care mistakes that people make, I’m not so into it myself to know a mistake when I see one.
Ifedami: Which gender should be deeply rooted in a skincare routine and why
Folaremi: I don’t think any gender should be more into skincare routine than the other. I think the essence of the routines is to look good and I don’t think looking good should be subjected to just one gender.
Ifedami: Tell us more about your job
Folaremi: Well, I am an actor. I’m not sure how much there is to tell about being an actor. Well I could say, one thing, it is a lot more stressful than a lot of people imagine it is, cos anytime I say I am an actor, people always go “You’re having fun”. I think being an actor can only be rewarding when you have passion for it because it requires a lot of hard work both physically and mentally. My advice is, if you are not strong emotionally, Do not try to become an actor.
Ifedami: You are good-looking and your skin is always popping, how do you manage breakouts and other skin reactions while doing your job?
Folaremi: I do not use anything at all on my skin, nothing at all. Just soap and water, lol. I guess I’m one of those people that never have breakouts.
Ifedami: What skincare advice do you think people need?
Folaremi: I don’t think there is a general skin care advice that works for everyone, you just need to find what works for you and stick to it
